It is sad. It breaks my heart at the ignorance of some.It is even more heart wrenching when the one that is struggling with this illness lives in denial over it. sigh sigh sigh

I think that many live a life that “ignorance is bliss.” If I do not have to think about it, it does not exist. Yet, it is here. It has always been here. People have always been dis-eased. Frankly, this is not as simple as changing attitudes. It is about changing an environment. Much of the problem is that an environment supports immediate gratification. It is an environment of addiction. It supports short term solutions that are immediate. It supports the illusion that there are “silver bullets” when there are none. Insanity is a sane reaction to an insane environment. I am not sure that labeling dis-ease as labels helps. Just my opinion.
